Social listening assignment

 Social listening     I chose Gatorade for my company brand. The value proposition of Gatorade is to be the most hydrating sports drink on the market, along with the best tasting one. They aim to fuel athletes to the next levels of competition and to keep them hydrated while they do their athletic activities. What interested me about this product is they have come out with multiple new products over the years whether it be the chewable Gatorade gummies or a new drink. Also Gatorade seems to always have the most brand recognition among the major sports drinks they are always shown throughout sporting events being advertised on the sidelines in the giant orange containers for the players.    Some things people were saying about Gatorade were mostly from football teams twitter accounts talking about how after a win they would give the coach a Gatorade bath.   Fords new electric truck     Ford unveiled a new type of vehicle being the electric truck the first of the companies kind. This new truck called the Ford electric lightning is a major change in the truck industry. I chose this topic because I feel this is a new trend we will be seeing with many companies going to environmentally friendly options whether that be because of new government mandates on vehicles or because they want to fulfill the demand for an eco friendly alternative to their automotive counterparts.     The articles main points are to highlight the new features of the truck and explain why people may want to buy this over the classic and best selling truck in the United States the Ford F-150. Surprisingly the article states many benefits to buying this truck over the F-150 and other trucks for that matter. This truck has power speed and high level performance. First marketing post

Marketing first post!     My name is Nick Webb and this is my junior year of college, I am dual enrolled with LBCC and OSU. After a few major changes my first two years of college I have decided to major in business administration. I currently work at ATI in the environmental department as a water specialist.     I enrolled in this class because I am a business major and it was a required course but I also enrolled because this is something that has interested me and I would love to learn more about marketing. I'm interested in learning the ways business market and possibly new ways they are marketing that compare with the old ways, along with that I would be interested to know the success stories of businesses who were saved by a successful marketing ploy.     When I'm not in school I love to hike, fish, go for walks with my dog, and hangout with my friends.
